The 82^nd Airborne Division Association Education Fund has the unique opportunity this year to provide a number of scholarships to Spouses and Children of 82^nd Airborne Division Veterans who have a service related rating with the Veterans Administration.

If you are interested contact the 82^nd Airborne Division Association Education Fund at: scholarshipsDVF@82ftff.org or call (910) 223-1182 to obtain an application. We are aiming to distribute Scholarships in June 2022 so don’t wait. We will begin accepting applications immediately.

We've received word from Chapter 37 Special Forces Association (SFA) that they have decided to cancel their annual Military Ball due to COVID concerns. The event had been planned for 09 April at Fountain Blue Banquets in Des Plaines, IL. 

Welcome to our newest Chicago Chapter member, Jim Trimby of Bonfield, IL! Jim served with B/2-325th AIR (82nd Airborne Division) from 1975-79 and then with 1/12th SFG, earning the rank of SSG/E-6. Jim was a proud 11B who earned Senior Parachutist wings, the EIB and the Ranger Tab.

Some of you met Jim at our last chapter meeting on 06 Feb at Rock Bottom in Warrenville.
