Join The Chicago Chapter
The 82nd Airborne Division Association is the largest Airborne association in the world. Membership is open to any veteran who meets at least one of the following criteria. All applicants must show proof of Honorable discharge.
- Served with the 82nd Airborne Division, either assigned or attached by competent order.
- Graduated from the U.S. Army Basic Airborne School, earning basic jump wings, or having earned the Glider Badge.
As part of the application process, new applicants are required to submit proof of Airborne and Honorable discharge qualifications. A legible and complete copy of your DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) is required. All new membership applications will remain in "Pending" status until your DD 214 is received via email to info@chicagoairborne.com.
Please note: When you join the 82nd Airborne Division Association, you join the Association as a whole, and are then assigned to a chapter, like the Chicago Chapter. Membership in the Chicago Chapter is also membership in the 82nd Airborne Division Association.
