LGOP - Chicago Veterans Ruck March

Little Group of (Ruck Marching) Paratroopers!

All Chicago Chapter members and friends are invited to participate in the Chicago Vets 20-Mile Ruck March on Friday, 24 May. Starts at Veterans Memorial (Kalk) Park in Glencoe and finishes at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Lunch provided in Evanston.

Our Vice Chairman Glenn Granat (1/504 PIR) is rucking again this year and looking for some Airborne buddies to help the cause in raising awareness for the 20 veterans we lose daily to suicide. If we get a few Chicago Chapter members, we can form an official group. We will do our best to provide transportation back to Glencoe from the finish point.

0600: Participant Check-In begins
0830: Opening Ceremony
0900: First Wave Step Off
1030-1430: Lunch in Centennial Park in Evanston
1400-1830: End Point Activities
