Veteran's Night - Lockport Township High School

The Lockport Township High School is again hosting a Veteran's Night on 19 January 2018. All area Veterans are welcome. It would be good for our Chapter to support this event and cheer on their varsity basketball team, as well as receive recognition for our service. Below is an explanation of the event, as well as an attachment with a letter of invitation.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Lockport Township High School (LTHS) will once again be holding our LTHS Veteran’s Night Ceremony on Friday, January 19^th between the Women’s Varsity and Men’s Varsity basketball games.  Now in its fourth year, the evening provides a great opportunity for the public to say “Thank You” to the men and women who have given of themselves for all of us.  As veterans of Veteran’s Night, I want to personally invite everyone to our ceremony once again. 

As in the past, the participating Veterans will be served pizza and water before the ceremony.  In addition, each participant will receive a complimentary LTHS Veteran’s Night t-shirt (in a new color this year!).  After the ceremony, the Veteran’s and their guests are welcome to enjoy the basketball game or share stories and experiences with other Veteran’s in attendance that evening.  We ask those participating to please arrive by 5:30 as the ceremony will begin at approximately 6:00.  To participate in our Veteran’s Night, please sign up atwww.tinyurl.com/LTHSVets2018 (also accessible via the LTHS Homepage at www.lths.org), e-mail Mike Zaworski (event coordinator) at mzaworski@lths.org or contact me  at 815/588-8591.  For further clarification about the evening I have attached our flyer to this e-mail.
