Airborne Day is an annual celebration of the history and accomplishments of American military parachute and glider forces. Since the first U.S. combat jump into North Africa in 1942, our Airborne forces have spearheaded military operations in nearly every conflict around the world that included our U.S. military. Today, Airborne soldiers continue the tradition setting the highest standards in military skills, physical fitness, and sheer toughness.

At Airborne Day you will enjoy quality entertainment, current and vintage military vehicles and equipment, demonstrations, a parachute try-on station, and plenty of family activities. The picnic will feature an all you can eat pig roast and favorite picnic fare beginning at Noon and served in the VFW Post dining room. On top of all that, you will enjoy the company of Airborne veterans from WWII to present day.

This event, held at Judd Kendall VFW Post 3873 in Naperville is open to the public and is family-friendly. Attire is casual. Hope to see you there!
