Independence Day Parade

Everyone is invited to march with the Chicago Chapter in the Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 4th in Niles, IL. Marshaling will take place from 08:15-08:45 in the parking lot of Notre Dame College Prep at 7655 W. Dempster Rd, Niles, IL. Parade step off is 09:00 sharp. 

We will march behind our chapter parade banner and colors. All marchers should proudly wear Airborne gear (Airborne-emblazoned hats, t-shirts, etc.),or any military uniforms that may fit. There will be vehicles available for our members who are mobility-challenged. The chapter honor guard will participate. 

The parade will end at Grennan Heights Park (8255 Oketo Ave, Niles). All parade participants can enjoy a free lunch and post-parade activities, including music and games in a very family friendly environment. 

For those interested, participants are invited to meet for breakfast at Kappy's American Grill prior to the parade -- about 07:15. The address is 7200 Dempster St, Morton Grove, IL 60053 -- approx. a half mile East of the marshaling area.
